RSS Enabled in Nightly Mozilla Thunderbird Email Client
By way of my buddy Kevin Burton, experimental support for RSS is now enabled in nightly builds of Thunderbird, Mozilla's stand-alone email client. Some screenshots:

I use Bloglines.com, and I think I will continue to use Bloglines even once Thunderbird has RSS integration, because Bloglines eases the load on people's servers by only grabbing the site once, rather than having millions of RSS readers subject the site to a DDoS attack with their incessant pinging. It seems like part of being a good netizen: the RSS standard is honestly flawed because this attempt to make a pull technology into a push technology is silly. Something more like rsync would probably have been better, but it's a bit late now to change it.
